Are You Hosting a Holiday Party this Holiday Season?

Planning a Holiday Party can be tricky, especially with little ones running around!

Here are a few party tips to help you out:

-make a list of the food that you will be serving along with what serving plates you will use for each, this will help you stay organized on the big day
-start making ice ahead of time and putting it in zip lock bags or plastic containers in a deep freezer
-if you are making a punch, pour some water into a pitcher and leave on counter over night. In the morning, pour it into a jelly mould or a bundt pan, add cherries, cranberries, other cut fruit and place on a cookie sheet in the freezer. This will keep your punch cool for the duration of your party. Just place pan in hot water for a few seconds and the ice decoration will just pop out
-have a way of labelling guest cups, whether it be with a marker on tape, wine glass ornaments, etc.
-use fun holiday cookie cutters to cut cheese, bread, fruit or veggies into exciting shapes for the children (if you are having any at your gather)
-if there will be children, have something for them to do. Buy a festive tablecloth and tape it to the ground (preferably out of the way) and have crayons, paper, stickers, etc. for the children to make crafts, etc.
-cut the bottom off a garbage bag and slit one side open to lay out on your bed for your guests’ coats, this way your bed won’t get wet with snow, assuming it is snowing for your party
